Why is there so much spam?

I keep getting comments on the post about “Some women looking for a man just click this link” or so many multiple emails that make it through my Gmail filter…

These are obviously phishing attempts to get some information or some kind of scam but they keep showing up in my inbox.

Simple man’s solution or the Dunning-Kruger cognitive bias approach would be; if they didn’t send the email to my email address don’t deliver it.

Day 22 writing. Spent most of the day driving to West Palm Beach and back then was just exhausted from the journey and stress of logging in which did not happen for a break hopefully easy fix.
