A Running Tab of all the things I would fix at Apple

  • Name Merge – Adding exact same names to contacts in the iPhone merges the two for some reason. I was adding another Emily Park to my phone and after I saved it the phone automatically merged it with another Emily Park I already had saved in my phone. Even after I manually deleted the duplicate information and created another contact of “Emily2 Park”, Siri still tried to merge the found email of Emily2 Park to Emily Park because of similar names. And this is even after I already safe the new Emily2 email to that contact’s profile. ~ An uninformed optimistic solution: A new entry is a new entry same as Excel Spreadsheets a new cell is a new cell don’t merge them just because they happen to have the same information in multiple places. Solution for Siri Email suggestion, if the email is already saved in a profile don’t suggest it for another profile.
  • Contact Photo Aspect Ratio – When you add and adjust a photo to a contact on iPhone whatever adjustments that were made in the edit section are reverted to the way the photo was inputted originally once you hit the done button. An uninformed optimistic solution: Save the edits when you hit done also simple code solution is “if the done button is clicked also save before exiting the screen”.
My Settings are definitely set to not download podcast
But every few days I have to remove downloaded episodes from my phone
Otherwise, it will take over my small amount of storage

Why can’t I stop podcasts from downloading to my iPhone? Why would I need these to download in the first place my reception is good enough that I can listen to one anywhere. It’s either a numbers thing because one of the podcasters I listen to said as long as they are subscribed Itunes auto-downloads the episodes and they count that as a listen. Or it’s apart of some sell you more storage crap because I will get an alert that I need more space every few weeks.

iPhone immediately combines and new number with an existing number just because they have the same first name.
