I want you to live in a place the WIFI is strong, the beer is cheap, and the people are pleasant. I’ve been to this place and I want to show it to you.
One of the benefits of the pandemic was that most of us were untethered from our office jobs. This afforded me the opportunity to move around a bit, it gave me unfeathered access to America and some other places I visited like Mexico. During this time of traveling, I found some interesting characteristics within certain areas. Some places have a vibrant light life, some places had an incredible cafe culture, and some places were amazingly walkable. While one place can’t be all things to all people, I feel like we can create a service/business that provides the exact type of place each individual make be looking for at the time.
This is my next project to create a “database” that provides an address that will give you the overall sentiment of the general area. The idea is that most people know the address of where they are going to stay in a city but need a vibe check. I want to provide the vibe check service. The company will rate addresses on a scale of walkability, density of eatery, and WIFI reliability.
The service will work by being able to enter your exact address and then finding out where is the closest high end grocery stores such as Trader Joes or Whole Foods. We will leverage the these stores for the hard work they have already done. Foot traffic analysis, market trends, populations growth metrics the stores have completed to select a spot will be useful. A score based on proximity to those location with be valuable to the right audience. Additionally, you will also have a metric of how dense the bars are in this area. There are several studies showing a direct correlation between the density of bars in an area and the level of socialiblity in that same area. Another key metric will be base off the strength of the local WIFI. Cities that have Google Fiber or a strong connection will get a high rating.
The company will be positioned to be integrated with Blueground, Hello Landing, Zillow, and or Hotels.
As I am writing this I feel like I already wrote it recently but this is still my day 10 post.
